We were proud to announce the opening of Valued Pets Veterinary Practice Ltd  in August 2022, situated in the previous vets in Station Street, Penygraig.

We are an Independently run practice, meaning we have no constraints and have the flexibility and freedom to treat and care for our furry friends in the most effective ways, and with your involvement we hope to continue for many years to come.

meet the TEAM

Meet Sadie

The Business Manager Sadie, has been working in Station street for 25 years. She has undertaken every role that a Veterinary practice has to offer. Most of you along with your pets will already know her, and she is excited to see you all again.

Meet Julian

The Vet Julian, has over 15 years of experience and is highly skilled and motivated to provide an excellent care for your pets. He has spent most of his career here in the Rhondda Valley working in many of the local practices, including here in Station Street alongside Sadie.

Meet Emma

Registered Veterinary Nurse. Emma joined us in July 2024.
She is highly skilled and has a particular interest in Diabetes management and weight clinics. She is highly driven to provide the best care possible to your best friends, and she cannot wait to meet you all.

Meet Nicola

Veterinary Receptionist. Having worked in practice for a number of years, Nicola brings experience, dedication and excellent customer service. At home she has her hands full with 3 terriers and 3 horses.

Combined the team come with an unmatched wealth of experience and knowledge, and they are committed in providing Excellence for both yourselves and your beloved little companions.

Emergency
Services

Weekdays after 6pm our phones divert to the Valley Veterinary Hospital in Gwaelod Y Garth,  they also cover from 6pm Friday night to 8.30am Monday morning, giving you around the clock care.

Should your animal need to be an inpatient at the hospital, and be too sick to travel back to us via ambulance, the hospital will communicate this to you and us.

All medical records from the hospital will be sent to us for continuation of care.

£250 (08.30am-6pm weekend and bank holidays)

Services that we  provide includes routine consultations, vaccinations, microchipping, nail clips, preventative healthcare, dental work, neutering, complex surgery, animal health certificates for travel, home visits and much more.

We understand the needs of the Rhondda community and their pets. Our team are highly experienced, animal lovers so our moto here is “we care as much as you do” We will go above and beyond to ensure the best of care for your beloved family members because we know how much they mean to you.
