We were proud to announce the opening of Valued Pets Veterinary Practice Ltd in June 2022, situated in the previous vets in Station Street, Penygraig.
We are an Independently run practice, meaning we have no constraints and have the flexibility and freedom to treat and care for our furry friends in the most effective ways, and with your involvement we hope to continue for many years to come.
meet the TEAM
Meet Sadie
Born and bred in the valleys she has been working in Station street for 27 years and has undertaken every role that a Veterinary practice has to offer. Most of you along with your pets will already know her, she is dedicated to bringing an outstanding service to the community, and loves to snuggle all the animals she sees.
Meet Ravi
Meet Julian
He has over 15 years of experience and is highly skilled and motivated to provide an excellent care for your pets. He has spent most of his career here in the Rhondda Valley working in many of the local practices, including here in Station Street alongside Sadie.
MeET Lucy
Lucy loves to travel, and has a dog called Arlo.
Meet Emma
She is highly skilled and has a particular interest in Diabetes management and weight clinics. She is highly driven to provide the best care possible to your best friends, and she cannot wait to meet you all.
Meet Nicola
Having worked in practice for a number of years, Nicola brings experience, dedication and excellent customer service. At home she has her hands full with 3 terriers and 3 horses.
Combined the team come with an unmatched wealth of experience and knowledge, and they are committed in providing Excellence for both yourselves and your beloved little companions.
Emergency Service
Out of hours care is provided by Valley Veterinary Hospital, they will cover our emergencies from 6pm every weekday evening until we open again at 8.30am the following morning. They also cover from 6pm Friday night right through the weekend until 8.30am Monday morning.
Following a consultation all clinical notes will be sent to us via email, so we can continue a care plan.
Should your animal need to be an inpatient at the hospital over night then normally they will be transferred to us via an ambulance service the following morning for continuation of care, unless they are ready to be discharged or if deemed not fit for travel, then a recommendation for them to stay at the hospital will be discussed with you.
